PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project consists of the removal of existing sidewalk and construction of 5’ wide sidewalk from W Fairmont Pkwy. To N. Forrest Avenue, also construction of a parking lot at the City of La Porte Recreation and Fitness Center located at 1222 S Broadway St. La Porte, Texas. This project shall be funded, in whole or part, with Federal grant monies from the Federal Transit Administration and local funds from the City of La Porte. All Contractors/subcontractors System for Award Management (SAM.gov) registration is not active or that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. CLARIFICATIONS A request for such interpretation shall be submitted in writing at www.publicpurchase.com. or to purchasing@laportetx.gov or delivered to the Purchasing Office at 604 W. Fairmont Pkwy, La Porte, Texas 77571. Purchasing will act as liaison between the requestor and the departmental representative or Engineer to seek clarification or supplemental instructions appropriate to the request. The deadline for asking questions will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025, by 5:00 PM.
