The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center(AFSC) at the Oklahoma Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring the Seal, Air, Aircraft for the F100-PW-229 Core Engine Module. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered foraward. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAWFAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delaycontract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained, and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.

4.3 “Availability of Funds” Clause FAR 52.232-18
Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government does not know the definite quantities currently; hence a range quantity is provided
