SeaBird Instrument Servicing

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of SeaBird instrument servicing from SeaBird Electronics as a sole source because the contractor is the single provider of the goods and services. This covers the new five year grant period for servicing of the SeaBird instruments used in the Ocean Observatories Initiative's program. SeaBird instruments were selected during a competitive process at the beginning of the research program in 2010 and these instruments can only be serviced by the original manufacturer. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at pacs@oregonstate.edu by October 31, 2023 at 9 am, PST.
