Separate sealed bids for the Wayne County Road 501 Bridge Replacement project, BRO-R111(015), and Wayne County Road
537 Bridge Replacement, BRO-R111(014) to serve the Wayne County Commission will be received by the Wayne County
Clerk at the Wayne County Courthouse, until 10:00 A.M., on August 11, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read
aloud. The address of the County is listed above, and located at PO Box 48, Greenville, MO 63944.
The project shall consist of:
Replace a deficient bridge on CR 501 with new single-span concrete box beam bridge.
Replace a deficient bridge on CR 537 with new single-span concrete box beam bridge.

Bidders unable to attend the bid opening in person can teleconference by calling the County at (573) 224-5600. Bids must still
be received by the bid date deadline.
The DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) contract goals for the amount of work to be awarded for the Wayne County
Road 501 Bridge Replacement, is 0% of the total project price, DBE contract goals for the amount of work to be awarded for
the Wayne County Road 537 Bridge Replacement is 0% of the total project price. The bidder shall also complete the DBE
Identification Submittal forms in accordance with the General Provisions. Missouri Law, 292.675 RSMO, requires any awarded
contractor and its subcontractor(s) to provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction
Safety Program for their on-site employees.
The Owner must award the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, however the owner may reject all bids. All
bidders are required to use the pre-qualification process outlined by MoDOT. See the Missouri Standard Specifications for
Highway Construction, Section 102 for additional information. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount,
form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days
after the actual date of the bid opening. The contractor shall submit a bid on both above listed projects, and the successful low
bid will be the total of both bridge bids. Any contractor not submitting a bid for both projects shall be considered non-
responsive.
The Wayne County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into
33 pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds
of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
