Event Description
The South Dakota Department of Social Services (DSS), Division of Medical Services is the state agency responsible for the administration of the SD Medicaid program.
DSS is requesting proposals for a qualified Offeror to provide access to national screened and validated health care professional data. DSS will utilize this file in its streamlined enrollment process for ordering, referring, prescribing, and attending providers in order to comply with federal screening requirements outlined in 42 CFR Parts 424 and 455 and further explained in the Medicaid Provider Enrollment Compendium.
DSS is requesting proposals for a Contractor to provide access to a national validated provider database to serve as our streamlined enrollment process for prescribers to ensure that those prescribers have been determined to be eligible to prescribe under all applicable state and federal requirements.
Offerors may email inquiries concerning this RFP to obtain clarification of requirements. No inquiries will be accepted after the date and time indicated in the Schedule of Activities. Inquiries must be emailed to Kirsten Blachford at Kirsten.Blachford@state.sd.us with the subject line “RFP17659 Inquiries”.
The State will to respond to offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. In addition, all inquiries and the State’s responses will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system and the DSS website at http://dss.sd.gov/keyresources/rfp.aspx. Offerors may not rely on any other statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding any modifications to this RFP.
