GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The Town of Jerome is soliciting the services of a qualified contractor to complete improvements to the
School Street Regulator within the Town's water distribution system. The work includes removal and
replacement of the existing pressure reducing valve (PRV) system, installation of a new PRV with
bypass capabilities, replacement of associated waterlines, installation of valves and appurtenances, and

all necessary connections to existing infrastructure. Additional work includes excavation, trenching, rock
excavation as needed, traffic control, system testing, and site restoration. The project is intended to
improve system reliability, stabilize water pressure, and enhance distribution performance for a
significant portion of the Town.

ATTENTION
The Town reserves the right to amend the solicitation schedule as necessary.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to withhold award for any reason.
Every bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to ten percent
(10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract in accordance with
the plans and specifications.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled:
"Town of Jerome - School Street Regulator Replacement Project"
