School Siding Replacement Rebidding

The Haines Borough is seeking qualified bids to replace approximately 5000 square feet of failing concrete board lap siding in summer 2026. The awarded contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing siding, along with trim and flashing as needed. Replace with ASC PC40-12 with nailing flange for direct attachment. This change will necessitate replacing the parapet caps with matching new caps which can be purchased from ASC Building Products either pre-fabricated or purchased as sheet goods for job site fabrication. Standard trim profiles for window and doors will be available prefabricated from ASC Building Products. Color to be selected by owner. The new siding should be installed according to manufacturer’s recommendations and be completed with appropriate trim and flashing as needed.

The opening of the proposals will take place on Zoom in a public meeting.  Evaluations of proposals will not take place on this Zoom meeting.
