School of Cryogenics RIX VSA Spare Parts

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia (NSWCPD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to supply materials in support of CVN-74 RCOH for the School of Cryogenics RIX VSA, with RIX Industries.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority 10 USC 3204(a)(1), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplier or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement", as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1.

Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of the synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
