Schon Park Playground Shade Canopy System

INVITATION FOR BIDS - Sealed proposals from qualified CONTRACTORS for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, means, and performing all work to complete the "Schon Park Playground Shade Canopy System" will be received by the Village of Glen Carbon, 151 North Main St., on or before 10:00 A.M., local time, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct a new shade canopy system over an existing playground, said system consisting of concrete foundations, steel support poles, a fabric canopy, attaching hardware and cables, and other incidental and collateral items necessary to complete the work as described above in accordance with the project plans, specifications and special provisions. This project is subject to a local Project Labor Agreement and shall comply with applicable Illinois statutory requirements including the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1) and the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (50 ILCS 570/1).
