SAS Institute – License, maintenance and support services renewal

The State of Minnesota, on behalf of the Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (Agency), intends to renew an agreement with SAS Institute, Inc., for up to 36 months to provide SAS windows and mainframe software licenses. Licenses include, but are not limited to, OS Base, OS SAS/Connect, OS SAS/FSP, OS SAS/Access Interface to DB2, OS SAS/AF, SAS, OS SAS, SAS/Base, SAS/Stat, SAS ETS, SAS Access to ODBC, SAS/Access to PC Files and SAS/Graph.

The State has a Master License Agreement with SAS Institute, Inc., Contract No. 55313. Contract No. 55313 grants the State of Minnesota a non-exclusive, nontransferable, and non-assignable license for the use of SAS software with designated operating systems. Because SAS Institute, Inc., retains exclusive ownership rights to the data collected, the licenses are proprietary and are not sold through third-party resellers. For this reason, this renewal has been deemed a single source.
