Santa Paula Creek 2024 Streambank Stabilization

Project Description: Consists of the clearing and grubbing of vegetation within the construction area, the excavation of 2 - 10’ wide by 2.5’ deep water diversion/pilot channels, approximately 1050’ of total length for both channels. Also included in the project is the reconstruction/ replacement of 7 Spur Dikes constructed from 1-ton angular rock and granular filter material. Spur dike sections each vary from 5’ to 7’ in thickness, 30’ to 40’ in width, with a 5’ top and 2.5:1 side slopes, average 131 LF in length, as shown on the plans. Project also includes the import of fill material from a local stockpile.
