2025 Sanitary Sewer Relining Project

Lower Macungie Township (Township) will receive sealed bids on November 14, 2024 until 10:00 AM (Prevailing Time) for its 2025 Sanitary Sewer Relining Project for the relining of approximately 23,285 LF of 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer pipe by the cured-in-place (CIPP) inversion lining method, including the reinstatement and grouting of approximately 252 sanitary sewer lateral connections. An “Alternate Add-On” bid for the installation of 31 cleanouts and CIPP lining 31 laterals will also be a part of the contract documents. Bids must be submitted via the PennBID Electronic Document and Bid Management Program. All documents and solicitation details are available at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com . Bid results will be made available on PennBID after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid price. This contract will be subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality, and to delete any “item” or portion of an “item” contained in the contract at its discretion, and to reject any or all bids.
