2025 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Televising Project

Project Description: Sealed Bids will be received online by Womelsdorf Sewer Authority until 10:00 AM local time on March 13, 2025 for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Televising Project. All bids will be reviewed by the Womelsdorf Sewer Authority at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in the Womelsdorf Sewer Authority building located at, 498 N. Water Street, Womelsdorf, PA. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except to the successful bidder at PennBid – www.PennBid.net. Bidders assume responsibility that their Bid is received prior to the designated bid opening time and date.
The Project consists of light cleaning and television inspection of approximately 16,065 LF of 8” sanitary sewer main, 670 LF of 10” sanitary sewer main as well as cured-in-place lining of approximately 280 LF of 8” sanitary sewer main.
Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of the Womelsdorf Sewer Authority, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the extended Bid Amount, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Womelsdorf Sewer Authority building located at 498 N. Water Street, Womelsdorf, PA. Addenda, if any, will be issued through the PennBid Program.
Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this projects and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012.
The Womelsdorf Sewer Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
