2025 Sanitary Lift Station Control Upgrade Project

The City of Lockport will receive sealed bids for the removal of existing hardware and the installation of new CompactLogix-based control systems. This includes all required electrical, programming, SCADA integration, testing, and commissioning services all in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Documents for the 2025 Sanitary Lift Station Control Upgrade Project. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of this document.

Pre-Bid Meeting/Site Visit: A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough will be required for accurate proposal preparation. The pre-bid meeting and site visits will begin at the Highlands Lift Station located near 16522 141st Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, starting at 9:00 A.M. Subsequent site visits will then occur at the remaining four lift stations that are part of the proposed improvements.

Obtaining Bid Documents and Prequalification: The Bidding Documents can be obtained from the City of Lockport. Prospective bidders shall e-mail Daniel Powers at dpowers@lockport.org requesting the documents. Prospective bidders shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, programming, and commissioning of municipal lift station control systems with at least three (3) similar municipal projects. A list and description of similar projects must be submitted as well as three (3) professional references from past clients that can speak to the contractor’s capability, responsiveness, and performance on similar projects when requesting the Bidding Documents.

Bids will be received until Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.?The bid opening will be held at the City of Lockport City Hall, third floor, City Clerk’s Office, 222 E. 9 ^th Street, Lockport, IL 60441. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. ?Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.
