Project Description: This is request for information regarding Salt Lake City Corporation’s intent to waive a competitive solicitation process to procure Black Cat II Plus Radar manufactured by Jamar Technologies. The Salt Lake City Procurement Code and Rules provide that the competitive solicitation requirements for certain procurements may be waved under some circumstances and when there is reasonable justification for such waiver. Salt Lake City Transportation Division provided waiver justification in the attached notice. If any party has any comments regarding the City’s intended procurement by waiver of the competitive solicitation process, they must be submitted through the Q & A board for this event on the Utah Public Procurement Place website (U3P) prior to 3pm on Friday, May 30, 2025.
