Summary

The Town of Manchester has approximately 45 cubic yards of loosely piled scrap metal waterworks material to be sold. The Town will accept bids for the sale and removal of the scrap material “as is and where is”.

The material is located at ground level at the Water Department’s storage yard at 3 Line Street in Manchester, CT. The four barrels of brass parts and meters are located at 125 Spring Street in Manchester, CT.

Bidder must supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to remove the scrap material from the storage sites. Removal of the scrap metal must be done on weekdays - Monday through Friday and between the hours of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Bidders may contact Kevin Tait at (860) 647-3208 if they wish to schedule a viewing of the scrap material.
