NOTICE OF RECEIVING BIDS
FOR THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY PORTAGE COUNTY
SEALED BIDS will be received at the Office of the Portage County Director of Internal
Services, Portage County Administration Bldg., 449 South Meridian St. (entrance on
Chestnut St.), Ravenna Ohio until 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on December 4th, 2024 and at that
time and place publicly opened and read aloud for the purpose of selling the following
parcel of real estate located in Ravenna City (known as 122, 124, 126 and 128 North
Prospect Street) to the highest bidder after the minimum bid has been met.
31-349-04-00-217-000 (approximately .3760 acres)
The Portage County Board of Commissioners has set the minimum bid at Two hundred
thousand and 00/100 dollars ($200,000.00). Funds must be paid within sixty (60)
calendar days from the date of bid award. Terms are cash, cashier’s check, certified
check or title company check.
PREMISES SUBJECT TO EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENTS. Tenants presently occupy
portions of the premises pursuant to existing lease agreements. Any person interested
in submitting a bid may request copies of the existing lease agreements. The
successful bidder will assume any and all of the existing Landlord’s rights,
obligations and responsibilities under any and all existing lease agreements with the
respective Lessees/Tenants of the premises.
**OPEN HOUSE WILL BE HELD: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD, 2024 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
10 A.M. – 2 P.M..**
