Project Description: The intent of this RFQ is to enable the City of Amarillo to evaluate the knowledge, capabilities and experience of respondents to provide engineering services supporting the implementation of quick-build pedestrian safety improvements at five school locations. The purpose of this project is to enhance pedestrian safety near schools by deploying temporary countermeasures designed to reduce vehicle speeds, improve pedestrian visibility, and shorten crossing distances for students who walk or bicycle during school hours.
