SABLE PALM SAFE ROUTE TO SCHOOL SIDEWALKS

Project Description: SCOPE OF WORK
Sabal Palm Safe Routes to School Sidewalks Project - The Contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment,
supplies, services, skills, supervision and necessary tools and equipment, throughout the Contract
period, in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. Construction includes but is not
limited to:
• Removal and disposal of existing storm pipes, headwalls, curb and gutter, fencing, trees,
miscellaneous concrete, asphalt paving, and pavement markings.
• Installation of new sidewalks along Villamore Avenue, Dale Street, and Ridgeway Street.
• Drainage Improvements at Eisenhower Street and Villamore Avenue.
• ADA improvements at the existing driveway connections to Sabal Palm Elementary on
Ridgeway Street, Eisenhower Street and at the intersection of Ridgeway Street and
Eisenhower Street.
• Landscaping and irrigation as shown on the plans.
This projects also include other items incidental to the infrastructure replacement, such as: disposal
of materials removed; sediment and erosion control, maintenance of traffic, and restoration of
disturbed areas as identified in the Contract Documents. Specifically, the contractor will be required
to provide arboricultural mitigation for trees impacted, per the provided Arborist Report and plan
sheets and to secure road and/or lane closure requests after submission of acceptable Temporary
Traffic Control plans.
The Contractor shall have the capability to perform and complete the services in all respects in
accordance with the solicitation documents.
