Description
Project Description: The Granger-Hunter Improvement District is replacing three large culinary water meter vaults throughout the West Valley City area. These vaults have reached the end of their useful life and need to be replaced in their entirety.
The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the facilities and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Obtaining all permits.
Project supervision.
Traffic control.
Mobilization/ Demobilization
Removal/ Abandonment of existing meter vaults and vault piping.
Salvaging existing water meters.
Installation of new meter vaults and appurtenances as shown and specified.
Restoration of asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, flatwork, landscaping, and all other surface and subsurface improvements.
Testing, flushing, and disinfection of the new and refurbished appurtenances.
