Description View Changes
The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry.
Quick question, can you please verify that the unit of measure on the Excel sheet  CO stands for containers. If so, is the quantity based off of a monthly pick up or per visit pick up so in other words when you say 30 containers will they be picked up on every visit or is it a grand total of 30 containers a month?

The amount of containers indicated in the schedule is the estimated number of containers that will be used over a calendar year.

I just looked at the updated amendment for the above mentioned solicitation. Can we expect an updated Price-Cost Schedule to be sent with this amendment or will we using the existing one?

Nothing has changed on the existing Price-Cost Schedule. All sites were listed as on call. The language in the PWS did not have the correct label above the table on page 5 which indicated CURRENT schedule. All CBOC sites are based on an estimated amount of on-call pickups. Main site is to be picked up weekly.

Can you please clarify, because the table in the modification is still showing bi-weekly bottom of page 3 and top of page 4. Can you clarify the intention is to move the CBOCs to on call and to leave the main medical centers for weekly?

The table indicates what is currently being performed including the footnotes on the table. Our intention is to move the CBOCs to an on-call services and keep the main medical center on weekly pickups.
Any vendor who wishes to revise their quote must send a new complete quote package (Administrative, Technical, Price) prior to the solicitation deadline. If you do not wish to revise your quote package an acknowledgement of all amendments (1, 2, 3) must be transmitted to the Contracting Officer by the deadline. If the Government receives no updated quotes, then any quotes received prior to this amendment will be evaluated as-is.
The deadline of the solicitation is 1:30 PM EST on 12/5/2024. All responses are to be sent via email to Joshua.Kovar@VA.gov.
