Sealed bids for the siting, licensing, installation and annual maintenance including National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) connection of Automated Weather Observation System III with Present Weather Sensor and Thunder Strike Alert (AWOS III PT) need to be addressed and delivered to Attention: Eric De La Cruz City of Lago Vista 5803 Thunderbird St. Lago Vista, TX 78645. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 P.M. CST on Tuesday April 21, 2026 then publicly opened and read aloud in in the Council Chambers at Lago Vista City Hall, 5803 Thunderbird, Lago Vista, TX 78645. Any bid received after closing will be returned unopened.

In general, the Aviation Construction work consists of: Replace and install of an AutomatedWeather Observation System III with Present Weather Sensor, Thunder Strike Alert (AWOS IIIPT) to replace in the existing location. The system shall be installed in accordance with thisspecification and as approved in Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular150/5220-16, latest version, and FAA Order 6560-20B, or latest version.
