1. Runway 9-27 Extension - RFP 2026-01-AP

Sealed bids for RUNWAY 9-27 EXTENSION, to be constructed for CITY OF DEFUNIAK SPRINGS will be received at the office of the CITY OF DEFUNIAK SPRINGS CITY HALL and addressed to 1350 Baldwin Ave, P.O. Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435, until 1:00 PM CT on TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2026, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be sealed and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “City Manager Koby Townsend: Sealed Bid - RFP 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension.” A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026 AT 10:00 AM CT at the DeFuniak Springs Municipal Airport, 183 Gene Hurley Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435 (850) 8922000. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization.

No. 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of DeFuniak Springs is soliciting sealed Proposals for

RFP 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension. Sealed RFPs will be received in the City Clerk’s Office,

City of DeFuniak Springs, 1350 Baldwin Avenue, PO Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435 on or

by March 3, 2026, no later than 1:00 P.M. (local time). Bids will be open at 1:00 P.M. (local time) in

CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1350 Baldwin Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026 AT 10:00 AM

CT at the DeFuniak Springs Municipal Airport, 183 Gene Hurley Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435

(850) 892- 2000. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization.

To be considered, Firm/Team must submit one (1) original on a thumb drive, one (1) original hard in

a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm/Team’s name and address, and the words

“City Manager Koby Townsend: Sealed Bid – RFP 2026-01-AP Runway 9-27 Extension.” addressed

to: City Clerk 1350 Baldwin Avenue, PO Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

All RFPs will be publicly opened and only the names of the Respondents will be disclosed. RFPs

received after the assigned date and time will NOT be considered. ATTENTION ALL INTERESTED

RESPONDENTS: Prospective respondents should contact the City Clerk's Office to obtain either an

electronic or paper version of the RFP documents by calling 850-892-8500, ext. 1103 or email

cityclerk@defuniaksprings.net.

NO CONTACT CLAUSE:

All prospective Respondents are hereby instructed NOT to contact any member of the City of

DeFuniak Springs, City Council, City Manager, or City of DeFuniak Springs staff member other

than the authorized City contact person identified in this solicitation, or the City's designated

procurement staff member, regarding this solicitation package, or the Respondent's submittal

package, City's Intent to Award, or City's Intent to Reject (if applicable) at any time prior to the

FORMAL AWARD for this project. Any such contact may be cause for rejection of your submittal.
