REQUEST FOR QUOTESRT 460 WATERLINE PROJECT EQUIPMENT RENTALSThe Town of Tazewell is accepting quotes on the following rental equipment:Quantity Description(2) 20,000 lb. Excavator, with a 30â wide bucket minimum(1) Breaker for Excavator(1) Walk Behind Trench CompactorQuotes submitted must include the monthly cost per all the equipment listed, along with a one-time delivery charge. The project starting date is June 2, 2025, with an anticipated ending date of September 30, 2026. The monthly cost estimate per piece of equipment must be guaranteed for the length of the project. Equipment rentals may be terminated at any point during the project, on an as-needed basis. Equipment must be delivered to the work site in the Town of Tazewell, Virginia by Monday, June 2, 2025.Due to the cost of this purchase, we are authorized to use the Small Purchase Procedures as per The Virginia Procurement Act and the Town of Tazewellâs Purchasing Procedures, which states we must post a notice on appropriate website and solicit, in writing, four (4) written quotes.Interested equipment rental suppliers must submit their quotes to Town of Tazewell Public Works Director Chris Mitchell.
