Bid Type: Request for Proposal Locations: Washington Keywords: Insulation Contractor Bid Description: Application of closed cell spray foam, and any Code required fire barrier, to the below grade crawl space vertical walls (approximately 600 sq.ft) to achieve R-21. The attic work (approximately 1,000 sq.ft.) includes the spraying of a 1.5 inch thick foam “air barrier” of insulation on the attic floor followed by 13 inches of loose fill cellulose. Other work in the attic will include building plywood walls/dams alongside the outer framing and access door to keep the cellulose from going beyond the attic. Bid documents and requirements: Full bid documents and bidding requirements are available at https://roxburyvt.org. In order to coordinate with Vermiculite abatement, the attic work must be performed the first week of November. Site inspection is required by all bidders.
