Separate, sealed bids for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the improvement and rehabilitation of Roundtree Park in the City of Douglas will be received at the City of Douglas City Hall until Thursday, December 5, 2024 by 2:00 PM, at which time bids will be open and publicly read. The bids will be opened and read at the Mayor and Commissioner¿s Conference Room at City Hall, 302 South Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533 at 2:00 PM, local time, Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Bids can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wynetta Bolder, City Clerk, City of Douglas, 302 South Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533. All bids must have Roundtree Park Bid B Rebid ¿ New Bathrooms, Dugouts, Playground and Sidewalk Improvements Bid plainly marked on the outside of each bid. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. The City of Douglas will select the lowest responsible bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The estimated budget for this project is $288,000.00

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to build a new bathroom, replace dugouts, replace playground and install new concrete sidewalks throughout park according to the details in the specifications.

The work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of the date of notice to proceed.
