Rotary Park Pickleball Courts

The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for construction of pickleball courts located at Rotary Park in the City of Galesburg. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, August 6, 2025, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in the Finance Department at City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Erickson Conference Room, located in City Hall. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent or on the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered.

Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically no later than Thursday, July 31, 2025, by noon to awilson@f-w.com. Include in the Subject Line: Rotary Park Pickleball Courts – Question Submittal. Reference Specification Section or Plan Sheet in email. No question shall be taken over the phone.

Bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting located at the site of Rotary Park at 1625 West Losey Street in Galesburg on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is non-mandatory; however, attendance is strongly recommended.
