Project Description: .PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all prospective bidders that Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, will receive sealed bids for the following projects: Roslyn Fire Company Slab Renovations. Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on the June 30, 2025 at which time they will be virtually opened by way of a Zoom meeting. All documents and solicitation details are available on PennBid (https://pennbid.procureware.com/home) by clicking on the bids tab. Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased through PennBid. Estimated cost is $100.00. Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at the offices of Abington Township 1776 Old York Rd. Abington, PA 19001.
The Scope of Work consists of but is not limited to: The replacement of the existing concrete floor.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the opening of bids, during which time the Township may review the bids and investigate bidder qualifications. Abington Township reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities, informalities, or defects in the bid. or to reject any or all of the bids.
All prospective bidders are hereby notified that this project is subject to PA Prevailing Wages determined for the project as set forth in the Contract Documents.
Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees - A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Questions are to be submitted via PennBid by June 25, 2025, by 12:00 PM
A Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled onsite for June 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. at the project site. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to determine the existing conditions and the extent of the work to be completed.
