ROSENA ROAD AND RAYMOND STREET PAVING PROJECT CONTRACT NO. 2025-01

Project Description: Public notice is hereby given that Fallowfield Township will receive sealed bids electronically via PennBid until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on Monday, April 28, 2025, for the following Contract:
ROSENA ROAD AND RAYMOND STREET PAVING PROJECT
CONTRACT NO. 2025-01
This project consists of placement of new Hot-Mix Asphalt wearing course (overlayment) on various roads in Fallowfield Township.
Plans and specifications are available at no cost via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) Bidders may not qualify any of the specifications. Immediately after the closing time for receipt of bids, all bids will be publicly opened with results displayed on PennBid.
A certified check payable to Fallowfield Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
Work under the aforementioned Contract is subject to the requirements of the “Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act” (1961 August 15, PL 987; P.S. 165) and subsequent amendments.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
