2025-00931 – Rose Twig Park Tennis Court Renovation

Project Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Montgomery Township will receive sealed bids online for Contract 2025-00931 – Rose Twig Park Tennis Court Renovation project. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via PennBid (www.pennbid.net) until March 3, 2026 at 10:30 AM at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 1001 Stump Road, Montgomeryville, PA 18936.
The Work to be completed under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to renovate the tennis courts (one set of 4 courts) at Rose Twig Park, Montgomery Township, Montgomery County, PA. The scope of work includes stone dust overlay, asphalt paving, and color coat of the courts as well as associated tasks. It also includes modification and reconstruction of the walkways to the courts to make them accessible.
All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost on PennBid. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (minimum $150 and maximum $6,000) is assessed by PennBid only to bidders who are awarded contracts.
A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the maximum amount bid is required to be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit within the time limit specified in the Contract Documents, the Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount.
This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended.
All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of bids only by the withdrawing Bidder’s strict compliance with 73 P.S. Section 1602 and any subsequent amendments.
Montgomery Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
The project will be managed by Montgomery Township.
