ROOFING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

This Addendum modiﬁes the original Bid Document dated March 10, 2026, and Addendum No. 2 dated April 9, 2026, as indicated herein. All

addenda must be acknowledged in the designated space on the PROPOSAL FORM/SIGNATURE PAGE. Failure to do so will render the bid

non-responsive.

REVISED BID DEADLINE: Friday, April 17, 2026, no later than 2:00 p.m.

1. Is there a specific Roof hatch manufacturer that you would like, and would you also like to have the safety

rail around as well?

ANSWER: SUPERINTENDENT requests the use of the following roof hatch model, or approved equal: Bilco E-20, 36" ×

36" steel roof hatch. Please refer to the specifications provided in the image on ATTACHMENT A for additional

information. All bidders are required to submit a completed Request for Substitution Form, regardless of whether an

“or equal” roof hatch is being proposed. If no substitution is requested, bidders must indicate this by checking the

appropriate box and signing the form. The SUPERINTENDENT shall have sole discretion in deciding as to whether a

proposed request for Substitution is equal to or better than a Specified Item. A safety rail is not required for this

installation.
