Roof Replacement- LT-7 Cabins 406 & 407

The existing roofs on Cabins 406 & 407 at LT-7 are old and the cabins have leaks in various locations.

Scope of work includes:

1. Remove existing shingles
2. Make necessary wood repairs with similar decking.
3. ½” plywood sheathing over the entire roof
4. Install new facia board 1”X6” pine
5. Ice and water shield 6’ up and in valleys, tar paper the remainder of the roof.
6. Install new brown drip edge
7. Install new architectural GAF starter shingles and shingles in Charcoal Color with 1¼” roofing nails.
8. Install new architectural cap shingles on ridge and hips in Charcoal color with 2” roofing nails.
9. Install proper flashing around all roof penetrations. New rubber boots for plumbing vents and electrical mast pipe locations.

High Level Requirements:

1. Fall protection is required
2. Personal Protection Equipment required
3. Work can only be performed Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, not during the camping season.
4. Prevailing Wage Job/Certified payroll
5. Haul away all rubbish.
6. Job site to be left clean and debris free

Work site conditions include rocky terrain and steep leading to the project.

A site visit will be scheduled for Tuesday, July 29 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST.
