Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-129 and city policy, sealed proposals endorsed "Roof Replacement at City Yard
Building #1, IF26217" will be received by City/County Purchasing, City Hall, 101 North Main Street,
Winston-Salem, NC until the date and time listed above. **This will not be a public bid opening!** The
City reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding procedures and to reject any or all proposals.
Bidders must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes.

or 336-747-6939 during normal business hours. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read and understand
the contents of the Bidding Documents which can be requested from Catherine Knisley at
catherinek@cityofws.org.
This project includes the removal and replacement of roofing at City Yard Building #1. This includes a
TPO roof over the main building and an EDPM roof over attached canopy.
**This is a purchase with installation contract**

** NOTICE OF PRE-BID **
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, May 7, 2026 at 510 Paul Howell Drive,
Winston Salem NC 27101. We will meet outside the front entrance. Please bring a ladder.
The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved for this project. Staff will
be present to answer questions. The City will not consider bids from companies who do not have a
representative present at the pre-bid and/or who fails to record their attendance on the sign-in sheet.
