ROOF REPLACEMENT AT FRETTERD CENTER

The County Commissioners of Caroline County are accepting bids (written quotes) for the roof replacement at Fretterd Center (offices of Caroline County Recreation & Parks) located at 107 S. Fourth Street, Denton, MD 21629.  The scope of this contract includes, but is not limited to: Remove all existing asphalt shingles completely from the entire building, down to the structural deck, approximately 55 squares. (Contractor responsible for providing dumpsters and tip fees)

• Inspect the deck and submit an inspection report.
• Install ice & weather shield around the eaves, rakes, and hip & ridges
• Install synthetic felt on the field of the roof
• Install aluminum drip edge
• Install starter shingles on eaves and rakes
• Install shingles - 30-year GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter gray)
• Install cap shingles at the hips & ridges
• Install pipe flashing

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on 06/24/2025 at 9:00 am at the Fretterd Center, 107 S. Fourth Street,  Denton, Maryland 21629. Bids must be received in the office of the Caroline County Commissioners, located at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629, ATTENTION: Nicole Pearce, by no later than 9:00 am, 07/07/25, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
