2026 Roadway Reconstruction & Water Main Replacement Project

The City of Lockport will receive sealed bids for Water Main Replacement, Storm Sewer Installation, Drainage Structure Installations, Aggregate Base Course, PCC Sidewalk removal and replacement for ADA compliance, Sidewalk Infill, Curb and Gutter removal and replacement, Driveway Removal and Replacement, HMA Surface Removal, Class D Patching, HMA Binder Course, HMA Surface Course, Pavement Markings, Regulatory Signs, Parkway Restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project all in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Documents No. 26-100 for the 2026 Roadway Reconstruction & Water Main Replacement Project (Hamilton St., Washington St, and Jefferson St.). Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of this document.

Prequalification: Prequalification by IDOT will be required of all contractors and subcontractors on this project in the respective discipline(s) they will be responsible for constructing. ?HMA contractor must be prequalified with the “003 ? Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant Mix”.

Contractors must purchase bid documents and be shown on the Bidder’s Plan Holder List in order to bid. Bids received from contractors who are not in the Bidder’s Plan holder List will be rejected.

Bids will be received until Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.?The bid opening will be held at the City of Lockport Public Works Department 17112 S Prime Blvd., Lockport, IL 60441. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. ?Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.
