Project Description: This project involves the reconstruction of six roadways and a parking lot within Spring City Borough. The following roads will be milled and overlayed: Icehouse Alley between Glass Street and N Cedar Street (450 FT +/-), Vincent Street between N Cedar Street and N Penn Street (450 FT +/-), Brown Street between S Wall Street and S Church Street (1,500 FT +/-), S Cedar Street between Washington Street and Walnut Street (350 FT +/-), Oyster Alley between S Cedar Street and S Church Street (700 FT +/-), and N Cedar Street between Broad Street and Chestnut Street (600 FT +/-). Work on these roadways will include various areas of base repair, subgrade repair, curb repair, ADA sidewalk ramps, and crosswalk striping. The Brown Street Park parking lot will also receive an asphalt overlay with areas of base repair, subgrade repair, line stripping, and additional bollards and signage. The roadway paving and repair portion of the project will include hauling, equipment and labor only. All of the Superpave asphalt material required for this project will be purchased directly by the BOROUGH.
