2023 ROADWAY CHIP SEAL COAT PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF MOAB, (OWNER) will accept bids for the construction of the 2023 ROADWAY CHIP SEAL COAT PROJECT according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by OWNER/ENGINEER (CITY OF MOAB) described in general as:

Furnishing and placing emulsified asphalt, aggregate cover, and bituminous flush coat materials, and completing temporary and permanent pavement markings on several roads throughout the City of Moab as presented in the plans prepared by OWNER and described in the bidding documents and technical specifications prepared by City of Moab.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the City of Moab Office at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

All questions regarding the project will be received by ENGINEER and OWNER via e-mail to the following:

All addenda and responses to questions will be issued by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Separate bids will be received by the OWNER until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Bids shall be addressed and delivered to Sommar Johnson (Moab City Recorder) prior to the Bid Opening.

The Bid Opening will be at the City of Moab Office at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS will be provided as a PDF to interested bidders.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.
