Sealed bids from Contractors properly licensed in South Carolina will be received by Town of Surfside

Beach on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, until 10:00 A.M. local time, at the Town Hall located at 210

S. Highway 17 in Surfside Beach for:

Town of Surfside Beach 2026 Paving Roadway Resurfacing Project

Bid Documents may be obtained from Bolton & Menk, Inc. 1298 Professional Drive in Myrtle Beach or

off the Town of Surfside Beach website. Contractor is responsible for the printing cost of the documents.

A $50.00 Non-Refundable plan deposit is required.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than FIVE (5%) PERCENT of the base bid.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Labor & Material Bond, each in

the full amount of the contract sum. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00200 -

Instructions to Bidders.

To be eligible for consideration, bids must comply with the laws of South Carolina, all conditions of the

specifications, and must be made on the form provided.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and technicalities in

bidding and to award the contract in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders shall not be permitted to

withdraw bids for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening date.
