2026 Road Program (Asphalt Paving)

Project Description: West Lampeter Township will receive online sealed bids for the 2026 Road Program (Asphalt Paving) via PennBid (www.pennbid.net) until 10:00 AM Prevailing Time on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened via PennBid. West Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors will be scheduled to consider action on the Bid at their regularly scheduled Meeting on Monday, March 23, 2026, or at a subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interest of West Lampeter Township.
All Bid Documents and Specifications are available online via PennBid at no cost to prospective bidders. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to West Lampeter Township in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful Bidder(s) shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price in accordance with the Proposal and Contract Instructions
The Township of West Lampeter reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of the Township.
