2026 Road Program

Project Description: Sealed Bids for the East Brandywine Township 2026 Road Program will be received online by East Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania until 10:00am local time on June 25, 2026. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid program. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except to the successful bidder at PennBid – www.PennBid.net.
The Project consists of the following on various roadways throughout the Township:
• Base Repair
• Installation of an asphalt scratch coat and paving fabric
• Installation of wearing surface
• Installation of seal coat surface
• rolled curb replacement
• Miscellaneous preparation and finishing work
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
A pre-bid conference will be hosted by East Brandywine Township at 10:00am local time on June 9, 2026 at the Township Municipal Building.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012.
East Brandywine Township, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
