NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed Proposals for Road Improvements will be received by the Borough of Phoenixville, 351 Bridge Street, Third Floor, Phoenixville, PA  19460 and opened at 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on Wednesday, the 25 ^th day of June 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud:

Additionally, the Bid Package may be obtained at the Manager’s office in the Phoenixville Municipal Building located at 351 Bridge Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Phoenixville PA 19460, or by calling (610) 933-8801.

For purposes of this document “Owner” is defined as the Borough of Phoenixville.

All Bid Packages must be addressed to the Borough Manager, 351 Bridge Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Phoenixville, PA  19460 and deposited with the Borough in a sealed envelope on or before the time and date specified above.  All bids must be marked on the outside “BID PROPOSAL for ROAD IMPROVEMENTS”.  Bidders must be PennDOT Pre-Qualified.

Item #1) 16,494 SY 1 1/2” milling;  #2) Placement of 1,501 tons 1 1/2” of 9.5mm Superpave Wearing;  Item #3) Re-stripe current layout  per PennDOT standards with Traffic Zone Paint, type 1 with glass beads and seal curbing; This is a prevailing wage project.  e-Verification is required.

The bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to "Phoenixville Borough".

Bids shall be effective for 60 calendar days.  The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of the Borough of Phoenixville.  The Borough of Phoenixville is exempt from all Federal and State taxes.
