RM33-2026-07 RFP Office Addition

The Municipality invites qualified Design-Build Contractors to submit proposals for the design and construction of an addition of approximately 800-1,000 square feet to an existing 1,600 square foot municipal office building. This project will follow a two-stage process: Stage 1 will be delivered under a CCDC 5A Construction Management for Services contract to complete the design and produce a Class A estimate. Stage 2 will transition to a CCDC 14 Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract for the construction phase, based on the accepted Class A estimate.

The Municipality requires an addition (to include 3 offices and a file room) to an existing administrative office building of approximately 1,600 square feet. The existing space will need to be redesigned to expand the existing council chambers, revamp the reception area and expand the existing washroom to become 2 washrooms. Sustainability and lifecycle cost efficiency are priorities. The successful proponent will be responsible for design, approvals, and construction under a single point of responsibility.

All RFPs must be submitted in a sealed envelope by June 8, 2026 at 4:00pm. They will be reviewed at the June 9, 2026 regular meeting of council. Faxed and emailed RFPs will not be accepted.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily be accepted and the R.M. of Moose Creek No. 33 reserves the right to reject any and all tenders.
