Project Description: This project involves improvements to an existing detention pond and the associated inlets/outlet. Specifically, the goal of this project is to create better access to the pond and its inlets and outlets as well as to remove accumulated debris and sediment.
Utility locates necessary for project completion shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Stormwater infrastructure within the project limits including existing pond inlets and outlets should be located prior to construction. All trees onsite should also be located and identified prior to construction. Clearing and stump grinding of all trees as necessary for construction of the pond access path will be the responsibility of the contractor.
If traffic maintenance is needed it will be the contractor’s responsibility.
Erosion and sediment control measures will need to be installed and maintained for the project duration. Disturbed areas will be stabilized with sod or specified planting.
Material hauled off must be dried prior to leaving the project site. Quantities of material haul off are in dried cubic yards. Wet material shall not be hauled onto the City Right-of-Way. Material drying location shall be up to the contractor (within the limits of disturbance).
The contractor is responsible for linking to the permitted City Project as well as applying for a Right-of-Way Utility Permit. Detailed daily reports, including photographs, will be required as part of this project.
