River Highlands / Gold Village Groundwater Improvement Project - Phase II

The work in general consists of water systems improvements, guardrails, fencing, SCADA installation and upgrades, and electrical improvements, along Hammonton Smartsville Road in the community of Smartsville. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

The estimated cost of the project is $657,624.

Complete the work within 60 working days.

No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.

The County reserves the right after opening the bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid or bid submittal, and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interests of the County.
