Rip Rap installation for Indian Lake State Park

Scope of Work
Place additional rip rap at 4 areas of the lake totaling approximately 6,100 feet. Means and methods to achieve shoreline erosion protection is the contractor’s responsibility. Access to the work areas may be limited via watercraft i.e. barges. A boat launch is available at Indian Lake State Park for use. Coordinate with Indian Lake State Park representative for use of boat launch. Acceptable Stone: Class A and Class B limestone, granite tap rock, field stone or approved alternate. Contractor to submit material for approval. Coordinate with Indian Lake State Park representative for site logistics i.e. staging areas. Private boat launches are located closer to the work areas; however, contractors are responsible for their own arrangements with private owned boat launches.
Completion/Delivery Date: June 30, 2025

Provide pricing for Area #1 and #2 with #3 and #4 as alternates.

Area #1 Red (Turkeyfoot Islands) approximately 1,250 feet (split into 2 sections)
Area #2 Purple (Pew Island) approximately 1,650 feet (split into 2 sections)
Area #3 Yellow (Old Field Island) approximately 2,500 feet
Area #4 Orange (Sassafras)approximately 700 feet

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive
