Project Description	Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work: Contractor shall provide all the labor, materials and equipment associated with the refurbishment of student rooms and bathrooms at Rieber Terrace, a nine-story undergraduate residence hall with 362 student rooms located in the Northwest zone of UCLA’s campus. The project shall refresh the wall, ceiling, and floor finishes in the student rooms and bathrooms. The student rooms and bathrooms will receive new paint, flooring and base, and protective wall panels. Additionally, the drapery will be replaced. An alternate is included for the removal of the existing carpet and wall base in corridors and the provision of new carpet and wall base. The work will be divided into two phases: Phase 0 - Submittals and Procurement Phase 1 - Construction The University currently anticipates Phase 1 to begin no sooner than June 15, 2026 and to be completed by August 28, 2026. The work will be performed when the building is unoccupied, during summer 2026.
