RIDGE STREET FIRE STATION ACCESSIBILITY-2

The City of Charlottesville is requesting quotes for RFQ 27-15 for RIDGE STREET FIRE STATION ACCESSIBILITY-2 as part of an ongoing ADA Transition Plan which is in execution at several City facility locations at this time. The goal of the Transition Plan is to improve overall ADA safety and compliance at City owned properties in Charlottesville

The City's Ridge Street Fire Station located at 203 Ridge Street in Charlottesville, Virginia is due for certain ADA upgrades along the east side of the property as indicated in the Construction Documents (drawings). This station is integral to the delivery of Fire Department services in Charlottesville including safety and community outreach. As part of the City's current ADA Transition Plan, the proposed work will make the station much more ADA compliant and provide for easier access/egress for visitors and injured fire personnel.
