Richfield City Indoor Swimming Pool

Project Description: Richfield City is soliciting proposals from qualified General Contractors to provide pre-construction and construction services under a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) role for a new Richfield City Swimming Pool to replace the existing swimming pool. The existing swimming pool was originally built in 1924 and is located at 635 West 500 North, Richfield, UT (see Attachment A). Current plans are to leave the existing pool in place while the new swimming pool is constructed to the south of the existing pool. Upon completion of the new pool, the existing pool area will become parking (see Attachment B). Richfield has secured the funding needed for this project. This CM/GC project includes pre-construction and construction services. Pre-construction services include cost estimating, scheduling, phasing and constructability input. Construction services include but are not limited to, selective demolition, construction of a new indoor multi-purpose pool, construction of a Sprung structure (the City will purchase the structure), site and utility work. The CM/GC must be capable and willing to work closely with the owner and design team through the design phase, providing cost estimates, schedules and feedback on constructability of design details and availability of materials selected. The owner reserves the right to cancel the contract after pre-construction if the project costs do not align with the budget.
