Richards Woods Stream Stabilization Project

Sealed proposals for the Richards Woods Stream Stabilization Contract will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025 until 2:15 PM, prevailing time on January 24, 2025. Proposal will be opened and read publicly at 2:15 PM, prevailing time on January 24, 2025 at the Office of the City Clerk.

Proposed work consists of the installation of five stabilization structures in Mooney Creek, two rock riffles and three lengths of stone-toe protection. The approximate geographic coordinates of the site are 38.81279° North ,89.939672° West. The site is located along the South side of the Marine Road/IL143 between Wyandotte Street and Kiowa Street in the City of Edwardsville

The contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILSC 130/1-12).

The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Contract Proposal.

The City of Edwardsville reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
