RFS Request for Designer Services

Services of a qualified "Designer" within the meaning of M.G.L. c 7C SS44 to provide professional Feasibility Study and Schematic Design services.

Required Services Include: Architect, Landscape Architect, Planner, Programmer, Engineer, Land surveyor, Space Planner, Other. See Designer RFS for full list of Designers Consultants.

Designer selection will be made through MSBA Designer Selection panel. An approved potential project may include a renovation of the existing school, a renovation and addition to the existing school, and/or new construction. The MSBA Model School Program may be considered by the Owner. The estimated total construction costs may range from $45,000,000 to $94,000,000. Pending approval by the MSBA and authorization of project funding, the selected firm may continue with the full design and construction administration services without further solicitation. SDO participation goals for the Designer Services Contract at 5.4% MBE and 10.4%WBE. The designer's fee will be negotiated after this selection.
